As the creator and former CEO of Beginner Triathlete for over 10 years, my training plans have helped tens of thousands of people achieve their fitness goals from Couch-to-5k programs to triathlons.
I started as a bodybuilder in my teens and then gradually added in endurance training. I have learned to balance these very different approaches to training. Today I still focus on endurance training with a focus on functional 'bodyweight' strength training with a small amount of conventional weightlifting for sculpting.
I focus on the client that is looking to get into endurance sports - whether to lose weight or just needing a new challenge. I also specialize in the people looking to get and stay on a solid, balanced plan of endurance, strength training and flexibility to keep them in great shape as they age from their 30's to their 60's and beyond.
