I'm Coach Ron! and I'm offering my 30 years of endurance training and racing, along with my lifelong passion of weightlifting and bodyweight strength training to help you achieve your personal fitness and/or race goals.
I design plans for the 'Couch-To' athlete that has no endurance or strength base. I can typically get you to your first 5k or Sprint Triathlon within 3 to 6 months.
If you already have a consistent workout routine, but are looking to train safely with new goals or start adding in some endurance sports, I can help with that too.
If you have a year of basic endurance training but are looking to up-the-ante to start getting faster and hitting personal bests, I can build a periodized plan with specific drills and interval workouts to accomplish those goals - SAFELY.
What I am most passionate about, pulling from my own experiences of injury and triumphs, is to fit your goals into the 'bigger picture' of aging. as an athlete, we want to balance endurance, strength training and flexibility as one gets older and to evolve your training plan over time so that YOU CAN ACTUALLY HAVE A GREAT QUALITY OF LIFE once you hit retirement age.
Face it, what good is a nice retirement where you did the right thing and saved over decades only to have a low quality of life and a shorter lifespan to enjoy it in, if at all?
